I am the most boring person, EVER.  No one in their right mind would come looking for me to have a fun time.  My hobbies include crochet, reading and watching horror movies.  I am very, very boring.  I don't drink alcohol or smoke anything.

Mostly, I like to read and research about animals.  Additionally, I worked at the PEI Humane Society for 5yrs, in the past.  I have owned pets all my life and I constantly try to learn new things about them.

I'm afraid not.  I am what is considered a "hobby pet sitter", and thus far, there isn't an option to insure such a thing.  I have never been bitten badly by any animal.  I do get nipped from time to time.  As far as I'm concerned, it comes with the territory.  

Sort of, but not really?  I can trim claws on small animals (guinea pigs, rabbits, etc).  I have trimmed my cat's claws.  I have never washed a dog or trimmed their claws, and I'm not confident in trying to do so either.  I do brush animals, like rabbits and cats; and have been known to remove matting.  I am NOT by any means a professional and have no real training.

No.  I pet sit by going to your home, that way, your fur baby doesn't experience any disruption.  I am merely a weird new human in the house, who can be avoided if they want.  Only in very specific circumstances would I bring another animal in my home.  Usually that means the animal would have to be very small.

I have a handful of people who help me in situations like this (mostly my husband).  If there will be a large disruption due to illness, I will do my best to find a replacement person, who I trust, to take over for me.

Nope, and I don't plan on joining.  Firstly, they are an American company.  Secondly, I would be required to pay them a fee for their services.  They would take a percentage of my earnings.  I'm far too cheap to be doing that.

As a professional?  No.  As a social media user?  Yes.  My FB is for my personal use.  I have a dark sense of humour and I'm very sarcastic.  Neither of these things are good for a professional appearance.  So, no, you'll never have to worry about me posting pictures of your fur family online.

We pet sitters all know each other here on PEI.  So, if I don't have any availability, I can contact several other pet sitters that I've met with, personally.  Hopefully, someone will be able to help you out.
